A skunk and a cow met on Halloween night.
“Oh hi there, skunk! You gave me quite a fright!”
“You were right to be afraid!” said the skunk to the cow.
“I'm running from a ghost whose shriek is quite loud!”
The cow spoke up and made a boisterous boast:
“Have no fear, skunk, for I will catch that ghost!”
“I'm a bona fide, certified ghost hunting tracker.
I'll catch that ghost with my ghost catching zapper!”
The cow found the ghost and zapped it out of the air.
The skunk was amazed, and he sat and he stared.
“Thank you kind cow for helping me out!
I owe you my gratitude, without a doubt.”
Halloween night had come to an end.
And the cow and the skunk remained close friends.
