Driving Education

Corbin and I were driving to a friend’s house and we needed to take an exit ramp that had quite a curve.

I came off the highway and onto the ramp at a speed that was perhaps a bit too fast.

Here’s what Corbin had to say:

Corbin: “This is not a racecar.  It’s mommy’s car.”

Me:“You’re right Corbin.  I did go a little fast around that corner.”

Corbin: “Mommy, it’s not a racecar.”

Umm, ok, got the point Corbin;)  Too funny!  Driving advice from a two year old…and he’s right.

Ouch, schooled by a two year old.

However, before you give Corbin too much credit I would also like to point out that on many occasions he does ask me to drive faster.  But, at those times I’m going the speed limit.

Apparently, Corbin has an internal speedometer that’s very particular...he wants to go not too fast, but not too slow.  Ok, Goldilocks I’ll try to drive just right for you in the future;)
