Well, we’ve been at the lake for a long weekend and we enjoyed….the rain and clouds
But oh well, we still relaxed and had a chance to hop on the boat and swim for a bit here and there.
Earlier this week I took a quick girls trip for a few days; shopping, talking, eating, more shopping…really, what could be better!
While I was gone Corbin and Chris had VBS at church. This was his first year to participate and he loved it!
The Children’s Choir also sang in church earlier this month.
We celebrated my nephew, Cole’s 3rd birthday, Batman style.
And earlier this month we watched a parade at a little town near our lake. Since we don’t have a small town vibe where we live it’s super fun to enjoy different activities, like parades going down main street where there’s one stop light.

We’ve been going to this parade for several years, but this was the first year Corbin was really into waving at the people and getting the candy they threw out.

Happy 4th of July! Let’s celebrate all that’s great about our country…and there’s a lot.
