Award and Soccer

So we are trucking along with school and all of the other activities that seem to fill a week up fast.

Corbin got chosen as the Wheatland Warrior of the week!  He was so excited and of course we are super proud of him.  His teacher said:

“Corbin is a super student!  He tries his best every day and he’s a great helper to me and his classmates!”

 

The first soccer game of the season was on Saturday.  We’ve already had two practices which is new for us.  Before games and practices were together.  Now we practice on a separate night. 

We’ve also noticed that in this different age group all of the boys are more aggressive.  So, we have seen more packs of kids all running for the ball. As a result of the mass of humanity going after the same ball lots of people fall.  It seemed like at every turn at least 2 players were on the ground or headed to the sidelines in tears because of a slight “injury”. 

Oh my, soccer will be interesting this season.
